Snow Cake (I believe this is in theaters and if not, should be coming to DVD shortly). Directed by: Marc Evans Taglines: -Sometimes stopping is the most important part of the journey... Starring: -Alan Rickman -Sigourney Weaver -Carrie-Anne Moss
It is a drama film about Alex Hughes (Alan Rickman), who is traumatized by a fatal car accident, in which the daughter of Linda Freeman (Sigourney Weaver) is killed. Alex develops a strange friendship with Linda, who is a high functioning autistic woman.
I would show the preview, but I felt it revealed too much. I haven't seen this, but I saw a random preview for it on tv, and am looking forward to seeing it. It appears to be one of those films that isn't well known or talked about, so I'm posting about it here. I'm going to watch it and then come back with my review.
