A Colombian teenager quits her job at a flower plantation to become a mule (someone who transports drugs) in order to make better money for her family.
I saw this film in my spanish class and it was really interesting to see. It's a very bitter sweet film and it is true that this film is based on many true stories. A lot of people will become mules simply because it makes really good money. It was one of those, sort of slow movies (which I love) no action at all. But it was intense and very sad and I think, realistic. I give it a 6/10, I say watch it in it's original language, Spanish, with english (or whatever language you know best) subtitles and ya, rent it.
