From his Autobiograpical of the same title, A Guide to Recognizing your Saints tells the story of Dito Montiel's life growing up in Astoria Queens in the 1980's.
This movie is...... amazing, really raw, intense, but so powerful,it's so realistic and just shows the incredibly rough lifestyle that some children are simply born into, and their struggles to survive. I give it a 8/10, the acting was excellent, the story is just amazing, its so true and real, I definately recommend this film, it's a must see. But that's just my view. The RentHead.
