Based on the book Zodiac by Robert Graysmith. The non-fiction book is about the Zodiac Killer.

Set in the late 1960's and early 1970's, the film is about the real life Zodiac Killer. Following, detective David Toschi (Mark Ruffalo) and cartoonist Robert Graysmith (Jake Gylenhaal) who later on wrote a book about the Zodiac Killer, the film shows the stress of the persons investigating the case, as well as the murders.

At first, I did not want to watch this film, but then I found out David Fincher directed it (Fight Club and Se7en) and that made me want to see it, of course. I absolutley loved the cinematography and just the way it was done. I think it did portray the real events very well, and the stress the people involved, must have been feeling. It was a bit slow, you know, eventually it just got to "who's the guy" but I think it ended nicely and the acting was pretty good. It wasn't amazing, but good. Robert Downey Jr did a fantastic job as Peter Avery Jake Gylenhaal did all right. All in all, I say go see it, it was well done and just a good film in general.

Here's the trailer.

Sincerely,
