Der Untergang (Downfall)
Directed by: Oliver Hirschbiegel
Tagline: -On April 1945, a nation awaits its... [Downfall]

Starring:
-Bruno Ganz
-Alexandra Maria Lara
-Corinna Harfouch
-Juliane Köchler
-Ulrich Noethen
-Thomas Kretschmann

This film is based on the book 'Inside Hitler's Bunker' by historian Joachim Fest. Downfall is a German film about Hitler's final days. There are pieces of Albert Speer's memoirs and Tradl Junge's memoirs, in the film.

The film is mainly from the perspective of Tradl Junge (Alexandra Maria Lara) who was the secretary of Adolf Hitler (Bruno Ganz)

The movie was pretty good. I don't think it was as amazing as people said it was. But, it was very well done. It did show Hitler's madness and somewhat insanity, and it also showed how people followed him, how strongly people believed in him. It also showed people who didn't really believe in him that much, and some people who completley lost their faith in him. If you like War movies (though there isn't that much fighting, the majority of the film takes place in Hitler's bunker). then definetley see this. It's an interesting and very well done film about Hitler's final days. If you like history then it is a must see. Here is the international trailer.
