The Pursuit of Happyness: 5/10

Pursuit of Happyness (In theaters).
Directed by: Gabriele Muccino
Starring:
-Will Smith
-Jaden Smith
-Thandie Newton
-Brian Howe
-James Karen
-Dan Castellaneta
-Kurt Fuller

A man named Chris Gardner (Will Smith) takes custody of his son (Jaden Smith), after his wife (Thandie Newton) leaves, due to the family being poor and not able to pay the bills. Thus, Chris and his son soon become homeless, however, Chris is determined to become a stock broker, a well paying job.

This film is based on the book of the same name by the real Chris Gardner. So, yes, this is based on a true story. Basically, if you know the story the movie isn't all that much of a surprise. There was one scene that was very sad, intense and scary all at the same time. It was a sweet film and it was well done, but I wouldn't spend another 10$ to see it again. Jaden Smith (Will Smith's actual son) did a really good acting job. It was impressive. But ya, the movie didn't make me cry, but it was all right.

Sincerly,

P.S. I have to do a little "shout out" to Lisa. She's in great need of attention. As always. Attention starved. Love you Lise.
