Dnevnoi dozor (Day Watch) Country: Russia Directed by: Timur Bekmambetov Starring: -Konstantin Khabensky -Aleksei Chadov -Gosha Kutsenko -Igor Lifanov -Zhanna Friske
The battle between light and dark continues in this sequel to Night Watch.
Once again, this movie wasn't great. I was able to read the subtitles and they had fun with the subtitles. For example if someone used a knife to "cut the air" the subtitles would cut in half (after giving sufficient time to be read). There were neat effects that were very clever and humorous. I enjoyed that greatley. I do think this one was better than 'Night Watch.' But it's still not an awesome movie. I did find this one sad (well, one character) and there was this great scene where a girl drove her car on and in a building as seen in the last part of the trailer. It was pretty awesome, then again that just might be the theater experience. Either way, it was ok, not great, but ok.
